Byregowda Institute of Technology on merit, as per the directives of the Government of Karnataka from time to time, both to the Government Quota and the Management Quota.<\/li>\n<li>Pass in 10+2 \/ Higher Secondary (HS) \/ Pre-University (PUC) \/ &lsquo;A&rsquo; Level (with 12 years of schooling) or its equivalent with English as one of the languages, having secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or Information Science.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Categories (2A, 2B, 3A &amp; 3B) require a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.<\/li>\n<li>CBIT admits as per the prevailing rules &amp; regulations of VTU, Belgaum. The fee structure is as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Karnataka.
