With a view to taking up women\u2019s issues and problems, the cell aims at creating awareness of their rights and duties. It also provides a platform for women to share their experiences and views regarding their status in the society and to suggest ways to improve and empower themselves. Aiming at intellectual and social upliftment of the female students, the cell stands for facilitating women\u2019s empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programs and other welfare activities. The responsibilities of the Women Empowerment Cell is to follow the Mandatory Guide lines and directions regarding the security arrangements for Girl Students and Women staff of our Institution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To organize events and activities for women empowerment and to create an environment to realize their full potential.<\/li>\n<li>To conduct workshops and awareness programmes with a motive to train girls about self-defence, health benefits and skill development.<\/li>\n<li>To empower the status of women through education, raising awareness, literacy and training.<\/li>\n<li>To create social awareness about the problems of women particularly regarding gender discrimination.<\/li>\n<li>To develop the self-confidence of Women.<\/li>\n<li>To guide about Women Welfare Laws.<\/li>\n<li>To directs Women\u2019s role in the society.<\/li>\n<li>To develop multidisciplinary approach for the overall personality development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Activities\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To promote a culture of respect and equality for female gender<\/li>\n<li>To organize awareness programs on gender sensitization<\/li>\n<li>Organizing different activities to make women aware of their health, sports, self-defense etc.,<\/li>\n<li>Conducting various competitions to encourage their artistic
