To prevent gender discrimination and inappropriate sexual conduct through promoting gender sensitivity and justice amongst all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"committee-section committee-accent-3\">\n<h3 class=\"committee-section-title\">Standard Operating Procedure for Internal Complaints Cell<\/h3>\n<div class=\"committee-section-body\">\n<ol>\n<li>Complaint and number of Complaints redressed will be prepared and furnished by the respective Employer, should be reported in their annual report.<\/li>\n<li>Sensitization programs \/ workshops would be organized; by seeking permission and send the same to the IQAC for approval.<\/li>\n<li>Meetings would be convened for all employees as well as special meetings to be conducted with only the women employees by the committee on a regular basis.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain records of all sexual harassment cases and findings.<\/li>\n<li>If the committee decides not to conduct an enquiry into a complaint, it shall record the reasons for the same in the minutes of the Committee meeting. The Committee shall make the same available to the complainant in writing.<\/li>\n<li>The Committee shall have the right to summon, as many times as required, the defendant, complainant and\/or any witnesses for the purpose of supplementary testimony and\/or clarifications.<\/li>\n<li>The defendant, the complainant, and witnesses shall be intimated at least seventy-two hours in advance in writing of the date, time and venue of the enquiry proceedings. The responsibility of communicating with the witnesses lies with the complainant\/defendant regarding the date, time and venue of the meeting.<\/li>\n<li>At the end of the academic year the annual report and action taken report are to be submitted to IQAC.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"committee-section committee-accent-1\">\n<h3 class=\"committee-section-title\">Minutes of meeting Procedure<\/h3>\n<div class=\"committee-section-body\">\n<ol>\n<li>All meetings shall be convened by the chairperson\/convener with prior notice to all committee members.<\/li>\n<li>Minutes of meeting will be noted down by the convener and same will be discussed with committee members.<\/li>\n<li>It is compulsory for the members to attend the meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of necessary records of the committee in a file: Notice\/Photos\/Statistical data \/Minutes of meeting\/Prepare brief report on events.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting:\u00a0<\/strong>The Committee should meet at least once in every semester.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Quorum:<\/strong>The quorum for the meeting shall be two-thirds of the total number of members.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Record<\/strong> <strong>Keeping:\u00a0<\/strong>The agenda, minutes of meeting and Action Taken Reports are to be documented with official signatures and maintained in a register and electronically in a retrievable format (scanned copy).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reporting:<\/strong>A copy of the same will be submitted to the IQAC of the college for preparation of various reports of IQAC.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The undersigned members to prevent gender discrimination and inappropriate sexual conduct in the Institute Meeting Frequency: Once in a year, and as and when required Functions and responsibilities To facilitate a safe environment that is free of sexual harassment and gender bias.
